
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Kristen Trulear-Jackson knew that she wanted to be a doctor at a young age. After high school, she accepted a scholarship to Vanderbilt University, where she studied Biomedical Engineering. Upon graduation, she matriculated to Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC. There, she found a love for Anesthesiology. In addition to the hands on procedures she enjoyed taking care of people in their most vulnerable state and getting them through surgery safely and as pain free as possible.
Dr. Trulear-Jackson went on to train as an Anesthesiologist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After she completed her training in 2014, she moved to Charlotte to practice as a full time Anesthesiologist. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has received additional training in facial aesthetics. Now she is putting her love of medicine and doing procedures to help people look and feel their best.
Born in Perth, Western Australia, Dr. Taylor moved to the United States with her family at the age of five. She grew up in a small Iowa town and attended Vanderbilt University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. Subsequently, she remained at Vanderbilt to earn her RN and Master’s degree in Nursing. In 2000, Dr Taylor entered medical school at the University of Iowa and later transferred to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where graduated with her M.D. in 2005.
Dr. Taylor completed her residency in Anesthesiology in 2010 and attained her Board Certification in Anesthesiology in 2011. She and her family moved to the Charlotte area in 2010, where she has since practiced as a general anesthesiologist. In 2018 Dr. Taylor developed an interest in medical aesthetics and received training in sclerotherapy, botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and collagen induction therapy through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine. Outside of medicine, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, including her three school-aged children. She also enjoys music, travel, fitness, and time with friends.
Originally from Maryland, Kirsten has been living and working in the Charlotte area for the past 20 years. She has 15 years experience in plastic surgery and dermatology offices as a concierge and aesthetic sales coordinator. Kirsten has extensive knowledge of skincare products, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, and other aesthetic treatments. In her free time Kirsten enjoys travel, reading, and gardening.
Vicki has been practicing as Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2016. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte in 1997. Vicki practiced clinically in cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, and trauma intensive care for 16 years before obtaining her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Since completing her advanced degrees, Vicki is a practicing Adult Nurse Practitioner and Director of Clinical and Quality Outcomes for Providence Anesthesia Associates. Vicki developed a love for helping people look and feel their best and completed her training in botulinum toxin injections in 2016 with experience in cosmetic injections since that time. Outside of work, Vicki enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and four dogs, traveling the world, fitness, and cooking.
Sarah grew up in Charlotte and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her Bachelor’s Degree. After college she spent a year in New Zealand as an Au Pair for a family of seven children. Sarah has always loved science and helping people so she pursued an additional degree in Nursing at Carolinas College of Health Sciences in Charlotte in 2009. She practiced clinically in the Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit for 4 years before obtaining her Masters degree of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia from Duke University in 2016. Since completing her advanced degree, Sarah is working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Charlotte. Sarah also developed a passion for medical aesthetics. She completed her training for botulinum toxin injections and dermal filler in 2019. Her goal is not to alter the
clients look but rather to rejuvenate and ease the signs of aging by making her clients look and feel like their best self. Outside of work Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, two small children, yoga and travel (when time allows).
Brittany has been practicing as a Licensed Practical Nurse since graduating from South Piedmont Community College in 2009. She obtained her Aesthetician License from Aveda Institute of Charlotte in 2016. Additionally, she has taken continuing education courses for dermaplaning, microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser services. Upon graduation from Aveda, she has devoted the past four years to using her medical knowledge towards her passion for cosmetic services. Brittany is a highly trained professional who listens to her clients’ specific concerns and provides a personalized service suited for each individual’s needs. Brittany has been a resident of the Waxhaw area for the past 20 years. Outside of work she enjoys kick box theme fitness, trying new restaurants, travel, and evenings spent at home with her husband and pets.
Born and raised outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, Laken moved to Nashville, Tennessee to begin her career as a licensed aesthetician. In 2018 she attended Empire Beauty School, where she acquired a broad knowledge of skin care treatments and products to help patients address concerns and achieve goals. Laken moved to Charlotte in 2020 to further her career in esthetics, continuing to receive extensive training on advanced treatments such as microneedling, dermaplaning, chemical peels, CoolSculpting, and laser services. She prides herself on making her patients feel comfortable and effectively customizing each experience to their individual needs. Aside from skin care, Laken enjoys painting, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her dog.
Graduating from Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy in Massage and Bodywork Therapy in 2001, Kimberly is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist with two decades of massage experience. Adept in a wide range of modalities, her expertise includes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Himalayan Salt Stone, Neuromuscular and Reflexology Massage. Kimberly has practiced in the Medspa environment as well as the Integrative Health Practice arena. She is able to tailor her massage treatments to the individual, whether they desire a deeply indulgent massage, need to work on an acute or chronic injury or to pamper an expecting mother. Kimberly prides herself in helping her clients along their health journey to reach their health and healing goals. Kimberly resides in Waxhaw, North Carolina, and enjoys spending time with family, including her six grandchildren. Outside of her work, she loves live music, rocking chairs on the beach, horses, and the smell of leather.
Roxie began her career in the cosmetics industry in the 1990s and received her training from the American Academy of Micropigmentation in 2008. Since then, she has years of experience working in the field and maintains her knowledge and skillset with continuing education courses in micropigmentation. Roxie has a passion for art, beauty, and cosmetics. She loves helping women to find beauty and gain confidence in themselves. She prides herself on listening to each of her clients to help them achieve the flawless look they are hoping to create. Roxie lives in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending her free time with her four grandchildren.
